Advance Your Life`s Victory
Feast Central - 4 July 2015
In life there is a law of reap and sow. We are going to learn 5 principles of reap and sow law:
1. The seed must lead
When we are facing a problem, often we get drown in our own fears and problems. Actually when we are in needs and feel distress it’s the best time to sow, even though we feel more like being served than serving / to be helped than helping / to be taken care of than taking care.
Sometimes when we are waiting for God to answer our prayer, instead He gives us the necessity to sow. Actually, there might be a seed in those needs than can be the answer of our prayer. That’s why if we want to be happy, we should also help others to be happy.
2. Sowing is our job, reaping is also our job, but growing is God’s job
Most of us feel stress in our life because we try to control the growing part. If we want to live happily, focus on sowing even though the result cannot be seen just yet.
3.You reap what you sow
If we sow mango seed, we will reap mango fruit. Likewise seed of life. We will reap what we sow in life.
4.You reap much more than you sow
A small seed can produce many fruits, similar to coconut seed, we can get a lot of coconut from that seed. Just as we sow life seed, we will reap more than what we sow.
“The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” (2 Corinthians 9:6)
5.You reap in different season than you sow
If we plant a paddy today, we can’t harvest it today but few months later (when the time comes). Similarly we also can’t instantly reap what we sow, but we need persistence to keep sowing.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
Keep on sowing the seed! Actually God already knows what we need and we often get too busy telling God what we want and need, meanwhile God wants us to focus on sowing and share blessings to others around us.
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work; You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” (2 Corinthians 9:8,11)
